Playtester Agreement
What you're agreeing to
Playtesters get the heavier AI models and a larger monthly usage budget unlocked, and in return they use the product on real prep and send their notes, frustrations, and bug reports back. Joining the programme is signing up for both halves of that.
What we expect from playtesters
- Use ScriptoriumGM on a real campaign you're actually running. The feedback we can act on comes from prep sessions you'd have done anyway, not from a test drive.
- Tell us what worked and what didn't. "I opened it once and bounced off" is useful feedback too, as long as you tell us why.
- Keep unreleased features inside the playtester Discord channels until we ship them publicly.
What you can expect from us
- All three AI models unlocked - Fast, Balanced, and Powerful - for as long as you're on the programme, with no Patreon pledge required.
- A bigger monthly usage budget than the free tier, sized so a normal month of prep fits comfortably inside it, including long-context worldbuilding sessions and image generation.
- A direct line to the team in the playtester-only Discord channels.
- Early looks at prototypes and in-progress features when we want playtester eyes on them before public release.
When we'll remove someone from the programme
Slots are limited and the costs are real, so playtester access can be revoked. The usual reasons are: the access is going unused for a long stretch, feedback has gone silent, unreleased features have been shared outside the playtester channels, or the usage pattern looks more like someone trying to extract free model time than someone running a campaign.
If we end your access, we'll email you and say why. Your account itself stays active on the free tier, and the slot goes to the next person on the waitlist.
How to leave the programme
Message us in the playtester Discord channels or email support@scriptoriumgm.com whenever you want out. Your account drops back to your Patreon tier, the playtester models and budget switch off, and your slot opens up for the next person.
